“In the end, the beauty of the
built world comes from the people in it,
and they all have a stake in its beauty
and its ability to improve their lives.”
Howard Davies

ethos

Ethos is a network of people who are committed to the ideals of therapeutic architecture.

Whether by nature or nurture, each of us is the product of our environment. Ethos focuses on the health of people and places: where we work, is how we work and who we are; where we live, is how we live and who we are.

Therapeutic architecture takes an holistic approach to the design, delivery and experience of living within personal and communal spaces. It is a learning process that encourages individual development within a group (the construction team) and to bring that awareness to the creation of the built environment.

The word ‘Ethos’ denotes the character and spirit of a people. With a unity of purpose, we work together to build communities. Together we create richer and more meaningful lives by supporting each of us to be all that we can be.
